This project intends to continue the University Cinema Club, created in 2013 and then coordinated by Carlos Valente and Vítor Magalhães (Department of Art and Design), but now in a new framework. The Project presents itself as a public space for sharing and reflecting on cinema as a total cultural object (cinema encompasses image, movement, sound, dialogue, text, narration; and it can be the object of history, anthropology, sociology, etc.). In addition to the International Cinema & Territory Meetings (which takes place every two years), it will also include workshops, open courses and screening of thematic cinema. It will also be open to other activities associated with the Cultural Council or other bodies, inside and outside the University.
